First Annual RWA Legal Symposium and Workshop April 15-17, 2010

Location: The Greenbrier, White Sulphur Springs, WV

Never before in the history of the rural water industry has there been a symposium dedicated solely to the legal issues facing rural water administrators. Over the course of two days, attendees will be emersed in subjects from territory protection to day-to-day employee and board member issues. Mock trials will provide a glance into the vital preparation required for success in the courtroom when battling encroaching municipalities. And managers will learn the key elements to crafting effective agreements with users, suppliers, and nearby cities. Moreover, project engineers and directors will learn the essential elements of cost-effective easement acquisition and how to prevail in an eminent domain proceeding when negotiations break down.

Attendees will be surrounded by the gorgeous amenities provided by The Greenbrier, and will be able to extend their visit for a third night at the group rate. To learn more about The Greenbrier, visit www.greenbrier.com.
